On our May 6th, 2021 Fission Tech Talk Thursdays, we were joined by Paul Rony, founder of Kosmik App, which is a "visual tool for thought".
Kosmik describes itself as "an infinite canvas for your notes, media and web browsing". It stores text, images, videos, and all sorts of documents, privately and securely. They developed their own database on top of IPFS and are end-to-end encrypted.
Wanted the ease of SaaS, but also wanted people to own their data, have it be encrypted, have it work offline.

Built a database on top of @IPFS called Bang! Cross compiled go-ipfs on to iOS / iPadOS.
They recently released a new version, which is available for MacOS and iPad on the Apple app store.
Thank you to Paul Rony for presenting and sharing your vision! We look forward to working more with you on IPFS, open source, and private and secure data.
